In the aftermath of the recent Pahalgam attack—described by Pakistani officials as a false flag operation—the Pakistan Army has initiated large-scale military exercises aimed at demonstrating combat readiness and strategic preparedness.
According to security sources, the drills involve tanks, artillery, and infantry units equipped with both light and heavy modern weaponry. These exercises are being conducted across key border areas, including Sialkot, Narowal, Zafarwal, and Shakargarh.
Military officials said the exercises reflect the Pakistan Army’s heightened state of readiness amid rising border tensions. “Our forces are fully committed to defending every inch of the homeland,” a senior official noted, emphasizing the soldiers’ dedication and willingness to make any sacrifice necessary for national security.
“The Pakistan Army remains vigilant and continues to apply its professional expertise with discipline and resolve,” another security source added. “We will take every necessary step to secure our borders and uphold peace.”
Defence sources say the ongoing drills underscore the Army’s “complete readiness and unwavering determination” to respond to any provocation or threat.
