Pakistan Seeks Greater Regional Trade
Abdul Aleem Khan emphasized Pakistan’s desire to expand trade with Central Asia and Europe. He stressed that rail and road connectivity would drive economic growth. “Trade will increase through improved transport links, and both countries can benefit from mutual experiences in communications,” he noted.
Focus on Trade Corridors and Infrastructure
The minister highlighted the importance of establishing efficient trade corridors. He added that strong communication infrastructure remains a top national priority. He warmly welcomed the Kazakh delegation, underscoring the value of long-term strategic cooperation between the two countries.

The Kazakh delegation included Deputy Prime Minister Marat Nurtelo, Minister of Transport, Deputy Trade Minister Nurlan Soranbayev, senior official Arman Sheklov, and the Kazakh ambassador. They engaged with Pakistan’s federal ministers Rana Tanvir Hussain (Food Security) and Hanif Abbasi (Railways).
