CJCS ย General Sahir is currently in Australia to participate in Defence and Security Talks.
ISLAMABAD: General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), is on an official visit to Australia. The purpose of this visit is to engage in Defence and Security Talks and participate in a 1.5 Track Security Dialogue between the two nations.
As per the statement released by the ISPR (Inter-Services Public Relations), the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC) embarked on a significant visit to Australia.

During the visit, he engaged in meetings with esteemed civilian and military leaders, including General Angus J. Campbell, the Chief of Defence Forces of Australia.
The primary focus of these meetings was to foster stronger ties and collaboration between the armed forces of both nations. Both sides expressed their commitment to further expand their existing partnership, acknowledging the importance of bilateral military cooperation.
This enhanced cooperation is expected to result in greater interoperability, joint exercises, and shared expertise in various areas of defense and security.
During the trip, the CJCSC also took the opportunity to visit the prestigious Royal Military College. This visit provided valuable insights into the training and education system of the Australian military. Additionally, he had the honor of addressing the participants of the Australian Defence College.
During his speech, he shared Pakistan’s perspective on regional and global security challenges and emphasized the importance of collective efforts in promoting peace and stability.
The visit was hailed as an excellent platform for fostering mutual understanding and strengthening the bonds between Pakistan and Australia.
Both countries remain committed to working together towards common security goals and promoting peace in the region.
