Oppo has officially unveiled the Reno 15 series, featuring the Reno 15 and Reno 15 Pro, both powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 8450 processor and equipped with a triple-camera system. The series emphasizes high-resolution photography, long-lasting batteries, and strong performance.
The Reno 15 comes with a 6.3-inch AMOLED display supporting a 120Hz refresh rate and 3,600-nit peak brightness for outdoor visibility. It features an in-display fingerprint sensor, a metal frame, and IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.
The Pro model upgrades to a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with sharper 1.5K resolution while retaining the same refresh rate and peak brightness. Both models have multiple color options and weigh 188 grams (Reno 15) and 205 grams (Reno 15 Pro).
Internally, the Reno 15 series runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset, offering strong multitasking capabilities. Both phones support Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4 and run ColorOS 16 based on Android 16, bringing improved privacy tools, smoother animations, and AI-powered enhancements.
Photography is a highlight: both devices sport a 200MP main camera with optical image stabilization, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3.5x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide sensor. The front camera is 50MP with autofocus, ideal for clear selfies.
Battery life is robust, with the Reno 15 housing a 6,200 mAh battery supporting 80W wired charging. The Pro model increases capacity to 6,500 mAh and adds 50W wireless charging.
Pricing in China starts at $425 for the Reno 15 (12GB/256GB) and $520 for the Reno 15 Pro (12GB/256GB). Higher RAM and storage configurations go up to $555 and $675, respectively, with international pricing expected to be slightly higher.
