OPPO Confirms November Launch for Reno 15 Lineup
OPPO has officially teased its upcoming Reno 15 series, with the launch scheduled for November 10 in China. A leaked poster suggests the full unveiling will take place on November 17 at 7 PM local time, following China’s Double Eleven shopping festival. The announcement marks OPPO’s entry into the compact premium smartphone segment with innovative features and flagship-level specifications.
Three Models Expected with Compact Design Focus
The lineup will include the standard Reno 15, Reno 15 Pro, and a compact Reno 15 Mini variant. This strategic positioning addresses growing demand for smaller, high-performance devices that deliver flagship experiences without bulk.
The Reno 15 Mini features a compact 6.32-inch flat OLED display with 1.5K resolution, making it ideal for single-handed operation. Meanwhile, the Reno 15 Pro steps up with a larger 6.78-inch 1.5K flat screen and premium glass construction, catering to users seeking immersive viewing experiences.
Flagship-Grade 200MP Camera System Leaked
Design leaks reveal a squircle camera module housing three lenses, with both standard and Pro models featuring a 200-megapixel Samsung HP5 primary sensor. The triple rear setup includes a 50MP ultrawide lens and 50MP periscope telephoto camera, complemented by a 50MP front-facing camera.
A standout innovation is dual-view video recording capability, allowing simultaneous front and rear camera recording—perfect for content creators and vloggers. Industry insiders suggest this represents the strongest imaging system in its price category.
Performance and Build Quality Specifications
Both models will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 8450 chipset, delivering flagship-level performance for gaming and multitasking. Premium features include a durable metal frame and IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance ratings, ensuring longevity and protection against environmental damage.
The Reno 15 Pro adds 50W wireless charging support alongside fast wired charging, while all devices will ship with ColorOS 15 based on Android 15, featuring improved AI camera modes and smoother performance optimization.
Reports indicate OPPO may limit the Pro Max variant exclusively to China, with international markets receiving only standard and Pro versions. The series is expected to launch in India during December 2025, expanding OPPO’s presence in the competitive mid-range premium segment.
