OnePlus has officially unveiled its latest flagship lineup — the OnePlus 15 and OnePlus Ace 6 — at a launch event in China. The new smartphones introduce refreshed designs, upgraded performance, and notably massive batteries, marking a major evolution in OnePlus’s flagship series. A global release is expected in November 2025, with the Ace 6 anticipated to debut internationally under the name OnePlus 15R.
Moving away from the curved displays seen in previous models, the OnePlus 15 now features a flat 6.78-inch Full HD+ LTPO AMOLED screen with a 165Hz refresh rate. The new BOE X3 panel ensures symmetrical bezels measuring just 1.15mm, resulting in a sleeker and more compact design. Available color options include Absolute Black, Misty Purple, and Sand Dune.
The OnePlus Ace 6 mirrors this flat design philosophy with a slightly larger 6.83-inch AMOLED display, also running at 165Hz. It will be offered in Black, White, and Silver variants, maintaining a consistent design language across the lineup.
Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 Power, Upgraded Cameras, and Record-Breaking Battery
Under the hood, the OnePlus 15 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor paired with 12GB or 16GB of RAM and storage options ranging from 256GB to 1TB. It runs ColorOS 16, based on Android 16, and promises improved thermal management and energy efficiency. The Ace 6 uses a regional variant of the chip — the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Edition — optimized for Chinese users.
The company has ended its long-standing Hasselblad partnership, introducing Oppo’s Lumo Imaging System for its new camera setup. The OnePlus 15 features a triple 50MP system, including a 50MP main sensor (1/1.56”), a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide camera. The front camera offers 32MP resolution for selfies and video calls.
The Ace 6 sports a more modest dual setup with a 50MP wide-angle lens and an 8MP ultrawide, alongside a 16MP front camera.
Powering the OnePlus 15 is a 7,300mAh silicon-carbon battery, the largest ever in a OnePlus device, supporting 120W wired and 50W wireless charging, along with reverse charging options. The Ace 6 goes even further with a 7,800mAh battery but omits wireless charging, offering 120W wired charging capable of a full charge in under 45 minutes.
