The New Zealand cricket squad has arrived in Islamabad in preparation for their upcoming T20I series against Pakistan, scheduled to start on April 18.
Led by Michael Bracewell, the Kiwi team will face off against Pakistan in a five-match series, with three matches set to take place in Rawalpindi and the remaining two in Lahore. The series will conclude on April 27.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) recently announced the match officials for the series, with Andy Pycroft leading the panel. The officiating team includes renowned names such as Aleem Dar, Asif Yaqoob, Faisal Afridi, and Rashid Riaz.
Earlier, on April 9, PCB unveiled the highly anticipated 17-member squad led by Babar Azam for the T20I series. The squad marks the return of paceman Mohammad Amir and all-rounder Imad Wasim to the national side.
Additionally, the series is expected to witness the debut of Usman Khan and Muhammad Irfan Khan for Pakistan, following their impressive performances in the recently concluded ninth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL 9).
