Geo TV is set to launch its latest drama series Mohra, produced by 7th Sky Entertainment, promising a story rich in conflict, emotion, and suspense. The show premieres tonight, bringing viewers a powerful tale of pride, greed, and the consequences that follow.
Written by Tahir Nazir, Mohra centers on the intertwined lives of three key characters — Hamza, Alizeh, and Sikandar — each caught in a dangerous game where they become pawns driven by emotion, ambition, and family honor.
The drama’s soundtrack, with heartfelt lyrics by Zaheer Zarf and composed by Alex Shehnaz (Shahbaz), features the soulful voice of Yashal Shahid, adding depth to the story’s emotional layers.
At its heart, Mohra explores how unchecked ego and greed can cloud judgment and push people to make devastating choices. A single decision rooted in pride or the lure of wealth can ripple outward, destroying the lives of the innocent.
The plot follows Alizeh, a confident and kind-hearted young woman living with her mother and younger sister, Anooshay. Despite coming from a lower-middle-class background, Alizeh values her family above all and maintains a close bond with her sister.
In contrast stands the wealthy Hamdani family. Fareed and his son Hamza are portrayed as humble and fair, while Armeen and her children Sikandar and Nimra let pride and entitlement guide their actions, leading to strained family dynamics.
Alizeh’s world is turned upside down by an unexpected tragedy, pushing her onto a path of revenge against the Hamdani family. The story raises compelling questions: What was the tragedy that changed Alizeh forever? What role did the Hamdanis play? And can Alizeh’s desire for revenge bring her peace, or will it cost her even more?
Mohra promises to deliver gripping drama, moral conflict, and a deep exploration of love, family, and retribution.
