Actress Neha Sharma, widely recognized for her frequent appearances captured by the paparazzi post-gym sessions, recently addressed the discomfort she experiences due to the often unflattering angles used in celebrity photography.
Speaking in an interview, Sharma emphasized the necessity of maintaining a public presence in today’s entertainment industry while voicing her unease with the constant scrutiny.
She articulated, “There are days when you prefer not to be in the limelight and take a breather, as I recently did. It’s crucial to maintain visibility, but the manner in which some angles are captured can be unsettling. As a woman, it sometimes feels like you lose the freedom to dress as you wish.”
Additionally, Sharma acknowledged the challenges faced by the paparazzi, recognizing their dependence on such photography for their livelihood. “Their means of survival hinge on this work; they are supporting their families. It’s taxing to endure long hours under the sun, waiting for just one photograph,” she remarked.
Sharma also highlighted the importance of considering multiple perspectives, acknowledging the familial responsibilities of the paparazzi. “There are always two sides to every situation. It’s important to realize that you’re contributing to someone’s livelihood, and that’s a beautiful aspect,” she added.
Sharma, known for her debut in the Telugu film “Chirutha” and subsequent roles in Bollywood hits like “Crook,” “Kya Superkool Hain Hum,” and “Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior,” currently enjoys success with her portrayal in “Illegal Season 3.” Furthermore, her younger sister, Aisha Sharma, has also made a mark in Bollywood with her debut in “Satyamev Jayate.”
