ISLAMABAD: The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) on Monday conducted a detailed strategic appraisal of Pakistan’s proactive disaster management framework.
The session took place at NDMA headquarters. Officials reviewed the existing system and discussed ways to further strengthen coordination and response mechanisms between NDMA and diplomatic missions in case of any major emergency or natural disaster.
Overall, this initiative aims to ensure that foreign embassies, consulates and international organisations based in Pakistan are fully integrated into the country’s disaster preparedness.
