WATCH: Fight in Flight

A vicious fight on a Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) flight from Quetta to Islamabad recently jeopardised the safety of other passengers.

According to reports:

The rowdy passengers got into a fight at first, but it quickly escalated into a full-fledged brawl in which three to four people began punching each other while other passengers were shocked.

The passengers in the video below can be seen pleading for the fight to stop because there was a baby on board and sitting directly behind the aggressors.

Following numerous complaints, the Airport Security Force (ASF) apprehended the offenders.

It did, however, immediately release them after the miscreants apologised in writing.

When these offences occur on international flights, airport authorities typically blacklist the offenders and place them on a no-fly list.

ASF should have punished them for endangering the lives of other passengers.

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) announced a special package to make it easier for pilgrims to travel from China to Saudi Arabia for Umrah.

As part of this new agreement, PIA will provide pilgrims flying from Beijing and Chengdu to Saudi Arabia with connecting flights from Islamabad.

It travels the route Islamabad-Beijing-Islamabad on Sunday and the route Islamabad-Chengdu-Islamabad on Wednesday.

The PIA has also reduced fares from Beijing to Islamabad during the Chinese New Year and Chinese winter holidays.

The new fare from Beijing to Islamabad is RMB 4,681.

This fare includes all taxes, making it much easier for travellers who want to visit Pakistan during the holidays to do so.
