“There is no current proposal to refer the PTI founder’s case to a military court.”

The government continues to uphold a zero-tolerance stance on corruption. On Friday, Punjab Law Minister Sohaib Ahmed Bharth stated that there have been no discussions or proposals within the provincial cabinet or the Ministry of Law concerning the transfer of the PTI founder’s case to a military court.

Speaking to the media at the Chief Minister’s House, Bharth highlighted that the introduction of e-tendering in the Ministry of Communications represents a significant step towards combating corruption. He clarified that this system is designed to promote transparency and fairness in the procurement process, reducing opportunities for corruption by strictly following PEPRa regulations.

“Despite the change in government, ongoing projects from the PTI era are proceeding without interruption,” he noted.

Bharth reaffirmed the government’s commitment to maintaining a zero-tolerance policy towards corruption and ensuring integrity in all governmental affairs.
