The Pakistan Army has set up a freelancing hub in the Astore district of Gilgit-Baltistan

A new facility at the Government Boys High School in Astore District, Gilgit-Baltistan, aims to enhance digital skills and create employment opportunities for local youth. The Pakistan Army has established this freelancing hub as a significant development for the region.

In collaboration with the Special Communications Organization (SCO), the initiative addresses the region’s need for digital resources and training. The school’s Information Technology teacher emphasized the positive impact this platform is expected to have on students’ future careers.

Local residents and youth have expressed their appreciation to the Pakistan Army and the Chief of Army Staff for introducing this valuable resource. The hub is expected to generate job opportunities for many young people in the district.

This freelancing center is part of broader efforts to improve digital literacy and economic prospects in Gilgit-Baltistan, a region celebrated for its natural beauty.
