Pakistan Will Persist in Advocating for the Self-Determination of IIOJK’s People
President Asif Ali Zardari has paid tribute to the heroic struggle of Syed Ali Gilani, the iconic Kashmiri leader who championed the rights of the oppressed people in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK). In a statement, President Zardari described Syed Ali Gilani as a beacon of hope and resistance, whose efforts inspired countless Kashmiris in their pursuit of self-determination.
He affirmed that Pakistan will continue to advocate for the realization of the right to self-determination for the people of IIOJK, as outlined in the relevant United Nations Security Council resolutions.
