Sindh High Court dismissed a plea to arrest Hareem Shah on arrival in Pakistan

On Thursday, the Sindh High Court (SHC) rejected a petition asking the court to issue an injunction preventing police from detaining TikToker Hareem Shah upon her arrival in Pakistan.

Hareem, who is now on vacation in Malaysia, entered the plea through her attorney to avoid being detained in connection with a purported case of money laundering.

The court stated that if Hareem so chooses, she may enter a plea to prevent arrest once she reaches Pakistan.

Inquiring as to whether Hareem Shah is the same person “who claimed to have conducted money laundering,” Justice KK Agha questioned.

“Earlier, SHC had also given Hareem Shah security, but she had abused the directives to her advantage. Stop using the court as a game, “Justice KK Agha made a comment while sneering at the internet trend.
