ISLAMABAD: The federal government has appointed Shahab Ali Shah as the new Chief Secretary of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, following Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s approval.
An official notification confirmed that the outgoing Chief Secretary, Nadeem Aslam Chaudhry, has been transferred to Balochistan. Shah, a Grade-21 officer, will assume his new role in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
In addition, Nadeem Aslam Chaudhry has been appointed Secretary of the Board of Investment (BOI), replacing Rahim Hayat Qureshi, who has been made an Officer on Special Duty (OSD).
