KARACHI: A Russian delegation admired the art talk and exhibition at the Majmua The Art gallery in Karachi, where they met with local artists and appreciated their work.
The event began with an opening ceremony and ribbon-cutting by Ruslan M. Prokhorov, Director of the Russian House. Dr Natalia gave a speech highlighting scholarship opportunities in Russia for Pakistani students to learn Russian art and education.
Roman Porozov also spoke at the event, discussing Russian art and artists, and praising the work of Pakistani newcomers who showcased their talent.
The program was organized and Curated by Razia Sheikh, and Shahzad Khatri (Art Corner Pakistan & Ranglok) with the collaboration of the Majmua The Art gallery, owner (Miss Mehreen Ilahi), who brought together local artists and art enthusiasts for an evening of cultural exchange and appreciation.
More than 35 Emerging Artists attended the event. And the judges at the event were Ali Shah, Tarik Tonki and Tayyaba Asif and Fariha Aqib.
The event aimed to promote cultural understanding and cooperation between Russia and Pakistan, and to provide a platform for emerging artists to showcase their work.
