The Punjab Home Department has issued a comprehensive list of banned organizations and unregistered charitable institutions in the province, urging citizens to check the list before donating to any organizations during the holy month of Ramadan.
The list includes 84 names, covering banned groups and charities that are either involved in terrorist activities or are not registered with the Punjab Charity Commission. The government has warned citizens to be vigilant and report any organizations that are engaged in fraudulent or anti-state activities.

The department reminded citizens that aiding or supporting these banned organizations is a criminal offense under the Anti-Terrorism Act, 1997, and strict legal action will be taken against violators.
Furthermore, the Home Department emphasized that all charitable organizations must be registered with the Punjab Charity Commission to ensure transparency and accountability.
