QUETTA/ISLAMABAD: A power and organized gang has turned a leading into a prostitution in Quetta, creating abusive environment for female nursing staff.

Chief Minister Balochistan Abdul Quddus Bizenjo has ordered the relevant authorities to investigate the matter. A staff nurse in Sheikh Zayed Hospital in Quetta has raised an alarm over this situation in the hospital and she wrote a complaint to the Chief Minister.

She herself faced sexual harassment, but refused to be part of gang running prostitution in the hospital.

The nurse working in the hospital also sent a complaint to the provincial authorities and police in which she asserted that a gang was operating in the Sheikh Zayed hospital which influences nurses into prostitution.”

The nurse pointed out that if anyone defies the gang, they face threat to their life, jobs at the hands of gang members who are very powerful, Samaa TV reported today quoting sources.

“Those who comply, receive lucrative income and additional resources in the hospital,” she claimed.

Therefore, the chief minister of Balochistan has directed the provincial authorities to initiate action against the gang.

The provincial authorities and police have urged the nurse to testify and point out names of the gang involved in the immoral and inhuman activities .

Police and Health care authorities have promised to give her security after her testimony leading to conviction of the gangsters.
