JHELUM: A spectacular joint firepower demonstration was held at the Tilla Field Firing Range in Jhelum for cadets of the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA), highlighting the operational coordination between the Pakistan Army and Pakistan Air Force. The event displayed the latest modern warfare tactics, emphasizing defensive capabilities, firepower precision, and effective communication networks.
The exercise included dynamic performances by the Special Services Group (SSG), Army Aviation, and Air Defence units, showcasing the strength and coordination of Pakistan’s military forces. Senior military officials, alongside the cadets and students, attended the live display, offering them a firsthand look at the combat readiness of the armed forces.
As part of their comprehensive training, the PMA cadets also visited the National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC) in Pabbi, where they observed counter-terrorism drills in action. The visit allowed them to witness real-time counter-terrorism tactics and enhanced their understanding of the operational aspects of counter-terrorism efforts.
Additionally, the cadets toured Kharian, where they inspected modern weaponry and advanced military equipment, further enriching their training experience. The firepower demonstration was a central component of the cadets’ combat training, offering valuable insights into warfare execution and tactical operations.
Following the live display, the cadets received specialized training, deepening their knowledge of military strategies and preparing them for the complex demands of modern warfare.
