RAWALPINDI: The 7th International Pakistan Army Team Spirit Exercise-2024 has commenced at the National Counter Terrorism Centre in Pabbi, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) announcement on Sunday.
The Director General of Military Training inaugurated the 60-hour-long Patrolling Exercise, designed to bolster military-to-military cooperation within a complex international security environment.
The military exercise sees participation from 20 friendly countries, including military observers, with major contributors such as Pakistan, Bahrain, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, Maldives, Morocco, Qatar, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Turkey, the United States, and Uzbekistan.
Additionally, Azerbaijan, Belarus, China, Myanmar, Germany, Indonesia, Japan, and Oman will observe the exercise as military observers. The Pakistan Army Team Spirit exercise is an annual, mission-specific, and task-oriented professional military event held in the country.
It places a premium on the highest standards of physical fitness, mental agility, robustness, and professional military expertise to facilitate quick decision-making in diverse situations resembling real-world environments.
The exercise’s objectives revolve around fostering perseverance through team spirit. It serves as a platform to enhance basic soldierly attributes while promoting interoperability through the exchange of innovative ideas and the sharing of mutual best practices.
