Newly discovered reserves in Punjab are projected to yield 6.15 million cubic feet of gas per day, marking a significant boost for the country’s economy. The Oil and Gas Development Company Limited (OGDCL) has announced this exciting discovery in the Mari East Block, specifically in Chak 1-202 within the Rahim Yar Khan district.
This marks OGDCL’s second successful gas reserve identification this month, further strengthening the nation’s energy resources. An OGDCL spokesperson highlighted that this discovery will help address the gap between domestic gas supply and demand, reinforcing the company’s commitment to enhancing Pakistan’s energy sector.
