Number of Voters in Pakistan Reaches 132.67 Million, Up by 0.47 Million

The total number of registered voters in Pakistan has increased by 0.47 million, reaching 132.67 million, according to the latest data from the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP). This marks a rise from the previous total of 132.2 million.

Of the total voter population, 71.28 million (53.72%) are male, while 61.39 million (46.28%) are female, as revealed by the ECP’s updated figures on Thursday.

In the Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT), there are 0.61 million male voters (52.37%) and 0.56 million female voters (47.63%), bringing the total to 1.17 million.

Balochistan reports 3.10 million male voters (56.01%) and 2.43 million female voters (43.99%), with a total of 5.54 million voters.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has 12.28 million male voters (54.38%) and 10.30 million female voters (45.62%), bringing the total voter count in the province to 22.59 million.

Punjab, home to the largest voter base, has 40.24 million male voters (53.27%) and 35.30 million female voters (46.73%), totaling 75.55 million voters.

In Sindh, the total voter count stands at 27.82 million, with 15.03 million male voters (54.03%) and 12.79 million female voters (45.97%).

District-wise breakdown:

  • Quetta: 882,342 voters, with 502,905 male voters (57%) and 379,437 female voters (43%).
  • Peshawar: 2.16 million voters, with 1,192,611 male voters (55.11%) and 971,439 female voters (44.89%).
  • Karachi: 7.23 million voters across Karachi Central, Karachi East, Karachi South, and Karachi West. Male voters number 3,874,555 (53.58%) and female voters 3,356,441 (46.42%).
  • Lahore: 7.17 million voters, with 3,775,235 male voters (52.65%) and 3,395,385 female voters (47.35%).
  • Faisalabad: 5.48 million voters, with 2,926,959 male voters (53.44%) and 2,550,316 female voters (46.56%).
  • Rawalpindi: 3.41 million voters, with 1,751,624 male voters (51.39%) and 1,656,694 female voters (48.61%).

In total, the combined number of voters from these six major cities is nearly 26.33 million. Male voters make up about 14.02 million (53.24%), while female voters account for approximately 12.31 million (46.76%).
