MOIB Refutes Claims of False September 6 Holiday Notification

The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting has dismissed as false a notification circulating on social media that declares September 6 a public holiday for Pakistan’s Defense Day.

The Ministry’s Fact Checker condemned the spread of such misinformation as both unethical and illegal, emphasizing that it undermines public trust. They also stressed the importance of rejecting and correcting such irresponsible behavior.
