Meta has partnered with Ali Gul Pir, a prominent Pakistani content creator and comedian, to launch a weekly podcast series titled #CreatewithCare. This initiative aims to facilitate open discussions within the Facebook community in Pakistan on responsible content creation and fostering positive online interactions.
The podcast spans four episodes, each featuring candid conversations about the importance of thoughtful content creation and building meaningful connections online. The final episode was recorded live during a Meet & Greet event hosted by Meta at Avari Towers Karachi on June 29. Notable guests Amtul Baweja and Mansoor Qureshi joined Ali Gul Pir to discuss best practices for sharing content responsibly on social media platforms.
Dr. Priyanka Bhalla, Meta’s Head of Safety Policy for South Asia, participated in the event and highlighted the safety tools available to Facebook users. She emphasized Meta’s commitment to ensuring safe and positive online experiences, providing users with resources to protect themselves from harmful content and unwanted interactions.
The Karachi event served as a platform for Meta to engage directly with the local Facebook community, including content creators, Facebook Group administrators, digital publications, and small business owners who have leveraged Facebook to grow their ventures. It reflects Meta’s broader initiative to foster community engagement and support creators in Pakistan.
Ali Gul Pir’s #CreatewithCare podcast series, produced in collaboration with Facebook, covers a range of topics across its four episodes, offering insights and tips for navigating the digital landscape responsibly. This partnership underscores Meta’s ongoing efforts to promote digital literacy and responsible online behavior among its users in Pakistan and beyond.
