Pakistani Security Forces Remain Committed to Eradicating Terrorism
In a tragic development, injured Lieutenant Uzair Mehmood Malik has succumbed to his wounds and embraced martyrdom at Combined Military Hospital, Peshawar.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), an exchange of fire occurred between security forces and Khawarij militants at three different locations in the Tirah Valley of Khyber District last Friday.
During one of the encounters in Bagh, Lieutenant Uzair Mehmood Malik, who was leading his troops bravely from the front, managed to eliminate four Khawarij fighters. However, he sustained critical injuries during the fierce exchange of gunfire and was receiving treatment at CMH Peshawar.
The Pakistani Security Forces remain resolute in their commitment to eliminating the threat of terrorism from the country. The sacrifices made by our courageous officers and soldiers only strengthen this determination.
