King Charles remains unfazed by Prince Harry’s lack of interest in returning to the UK or resuming his royal duties, as he is more focused on mending their personal relationship. Despite Harry’s decision to stay in the US with Meghan Markle and their children, Charles is keen to reconnect with his son and spend quality time with his grandchildren, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
A source close to the King has disclosed that Charles deeply misses Harry and wishes to reconcile for personal reasons, irrespective of Harry’s stance on royal life.
“Charles misses his son and still loves him deeply. His desire to have Harry back is driven by personal longing, not just royal duties,” the source told the Daily Mail.
“Charles hopes for a restoration of their bond and keeps the door open for Harry and his family. He wants to avoid letting discord overshadow his reign,” the source added.
