FLOODS: Imran Khan expressed gratitude to everyone who generously donated to Pakistan’s flood victims

Former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan thanked those who generously donated to flood victims in Pakistan on Thursday.

In order to inform him of the funds already raised for the flood victims, PTI Senator and former BISP Chair Dr. Sania Nishtar called former Prime Minister Khan.

Salman Aftab, Senator Shibli Faraz, and Imran Khan’s chief of staff were also present at the meeting.

Speaking on the occasion, the former prime minister and chairman of PTI thanked the public for their kind donations to help those impacted by the floods. Due to the catastrophe’s severe effects on a significant percentage of the country’s population, he committed to donating the money to the flood victims.

In order to raise money for the rehabilitation of Pakistan’s flood victims, former prime minister and PTI chairman Khan staged his third telethon earlier this month.

Speaking to the telethon, Khan claimed that Rs 10 billion had never before been raised in five hours of two-telethon time  “We would be using these funds in a transparent manner and will devise a system that will bring transparency in their utilization,” he had promised.
