KARACHI: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff, attended the Grand Commissioning Parade of the 123rd Midshipman and 31st Short Service Commission (SSC) courses at the Pakistan Naval Academy, PNS Rahbar, as the chief guest.
The ceremony began with a ceremonial salute from a smartly turned-out naval contingent, followed by Field Marshal Munir inspecting the parade formations. In his address, he congratulated the graduating cadets on their successful completion of training and praised their dedication, discipline, and sense of duty.
Recognising excellence, Field Marshal Munir presented awards to cadets who demonstrated outstanding performance during the course. Cadet Abdul Rahman was awarded the coveted Sword of Honour for his exemplary conduct and top achievements.
The ceremony was attended by senior officials from the armed forces, members of the diplomatic corps, civilian dignitaries, and proud families of the graduating cadets.
The parade showcased the cadets’ professional capabilities, rigorous training, and deep-rooted patriotism — a display that earned widespread admiration from all present.
