A case has been filed against Afghan nationals under the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle. Amid the ongoing ban on Pakistani visit visas for Afghan citizens, authorities have ramped up efforts against individuals entering the country on fraudulent medical and business visas.
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) registered a case against three Afghan women who were apprehended at Karachi airport while trying to travel to Germany on fake documents.
FIA officials reported that the first detainee, Aziza Mohammadi, entered Pakistan on a medical visa, claiming she needed treatment. However, her records indicated that this was her first visit to Pakistan, contradicting her claims of ongoing treatment at a hospital in Islamabad.
The second individual, Mehria Rahmani, arrived on a business visa, supposedly traveling with her husband. When questioned, she revealed that she was actually unmarried.
The third woman, Zahra Soltani, claimed she was a nurse accompanying an Afghan patient. However, the investigation uncovered that the alleged patient had never entered Pakistan.
The women were arrested while attempting to board a flight to Germany from Karachi. Authorities have now initiated a case against the three Afghan nationals under the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle, and further investigations are ongoing to uncover the full scope of the fraud.
