Father-Son Team Sets Guinness World Record, Receives Praise from PM Shehbaz

Irfan Mehsood and his five-year-old son Sufiyan Mehsood have achieved a new Guinness World Record for the fastest time to climb around a person. The record was set on June 19 in Dera Ismail Khan, Pakistan, with an impressive time of 7.87 seconds.

Previously held by India’s K Gokulnath and MV Arjun Priyan, this new record showcases the remarkable skills of the Mehsood duo.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif extended his congratulations to young Sufiyan on Thursday, commending him for making his family and the nation proud with his extraordinary accomplishment. The Prime Minister praised Sufiyan’s exceptional talent, highlighting that such gifted individuals promise a bright future for Pakistan.

Irfan Mehsood, hailing from South Waziristan, is renowned for his numerous records in physical fitness, including push-ups, squats, and high jumps. He holds over 100 Guinness World Records, surpassing previous records from 16 countries, including the US, UK, India, China, and others.
