Election Commission of Pakistan Announces Major Administrative Reshuffle Across Key Regions

ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has implemented a significant administrative reshuffle, involving notable transfers of officers in key regions, including Punjab, Sindh, and Balochistan.

Muhammad Iqbal, formerly the District Election Commissioner of Lower Dir, has been reassigned to Multan. In his place, Jamshed Khan has been appointed as the new District Election Commissioner for Lower Dir.

Furthermore, Khuda Bakhsh, the District Election Commissioner of Korangi, and the District Election Commissioner of Malir have both undergone transfers. Sara Khan, previously serving as the Election Officer in DI Khan, has been appointed to Malir, while Hafiz Adeel Ashraf will assume responsibilities in DI Khan.

Nader Ali, who held the position of District Election Commissioner in Taunsa, has now taken on the role of DEC Pakpattan. Shaukat Ali is welcomed as the new District Election Commissioner in Gujarat, and Shujaullah Khan is relocated to Kot Adu. Sajjad Akhtar is set to become the district election commissioner in Chakwal, while Maqsood Hussain will serve as the district election commissioner in Rakzai.

Additionally, there have been transfers at the Provincial Election Commissioner level in Sindh and Balochistan. Sharifullah, the Election Commissioner of Balochistan, has been appointed as the Provincial Election Commissioner in Sindh as part of the administrative reshuffle.

Meanwhile, in a groundbreaking initiative aimed at uplifting and transforming the lives of the youth, the Alkhidmat Foundation organized the inaugural entry test for the Bano Qabil program in Lahore.

The event saw enthusiastic participation from both male and female students, marking a significant step towards empowering the youth of the city.

Amid a vibrant atmosphere, the first entry test drew the attention of notable figures, including Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Lahore, Ziauddin Ansari; Vice President of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan, Zikarullah Mujahid; President of Alkhidmat Central Punjab, Ikram-ul-Haq Subhani; and President of Alkhidmat Lahore, Engineer Ahmed Hammad Rashid. The gathering also included officials of the Alkhidmat Foundation, intellectuals, journalists, and prominent personalities from across the country.
