BANNU: An attack has been reported on the Marian police station in Bannu, resulting in the death of a pedestrian on Friday.
Local police reports indicate that the attack, which occurred earlier today, left the Station House Officer (SHO) and four other police officers injured, while a pedestrian lost their life.
The attackers reportedly fled the scene immediately following the incident.
Authorities have initiated a manhunt to capture the terrorists responsible for the attack and are currently investigating the situation. Further details are expected to emerge as the investigation continues.
Just a day prior to this incident, a grenade attack occurred at the Mach police station in Nasirabad, where the district headquarters are located at Dera Murad Jamali. Local police reports stated that suspects on a motorcycle threw a hand grenade onto the roof of the police station before fleeing.
Fortunately, no casualties were reported from that attack. The police are conducting an investigation to identify and apprehend those responsible for this brazen act of violence.
