Bakhtawar providing Updates on Zardari’s health

According to his daughter Bakhtawar Bhutto-Zardari, the former president and PPP co-chair Asif Ali Zardari is dealing with certain post-Covid health difficulties. She claimed that because of his health, her father had been away from the flood rescue efforts.

Zardari’s oldest daughter said on Twitter late on Wednesday that her father has health issues because he has previously been a COVID-19 sufferer. She claimed that there is water in his lungs once more.

In order to cure the additional water in his lungs, the PPP leader also underwent treatment in Karachi, she continued.

Bakhtawar said her father was not physically able to assist with the flood relief activities while providing updates on her father’s condition. She added that the former president does, however, have children who are visiting the flood-affected areas and providing assistance in his place.

She thanked everyone for their prayers and words of worry for her father at the end of the tweet.

Following a decline in his health, Zardari was checked into a private hospital in Karachi’s Clifton neighbourhood on September 27.

He was checked by a medical staff under the direction of Dr. Asim Hussain, who also oversaw the procedure involving the lungs.
