ISLAMABAD: Army Chief General Asim Munir met with World Junior Squash Champion Mohammad Hamza Khan at the General Headquarters.
The COAS congratulated the young champion for his remarkable achievement, which brought honor to the country, as quoted in a statement by the Inter-Services Public Relations.
General Munir further expressed, “Talented individuals like you make us all proud, and your remarkable accomplishment highlights the immense potential of our nation.”
The statement highlighted that the army chief assured Hamza of support in academics and other aspects.
General Munir emphasized, “Our youth is the future of this country, and with focus, dedication, and hard work, there is nothing that Pakistan cannot achieve.”
In a historic victory, Hamza secured the junior squash championship for Pakistan in Melbourne, defeating Egypt’s Muhammad Zakaria, marking a significant achievement after 37 years.

Meanwhile, PM Shehbaz emphasized that when the PDM government took over in difficult times, there were dangers everywhere, and the country was on the brink of bankruptcy.
“We saved the state despite facing criticism for 15 months, and our conscience is satisfied that we prioritized the nation’s welfare over politics,” said the prime minister.
He informed the parliamentarians that they had to remove the hurdles planted by the PTI government, which had adversely affected various institutions and departments due to the PTI chairman’s stubbornness.
