On Tuesday, Narowal Police filed a case against a suspect for allegedly sexually molesting a nine-year-old girl with mental disabilities.
A nine-year-old mentally ill girl was allegedly raped by a 70-year-old man in the incident, which took place in a village close to Narowal Sadar police station.
The suspect was arrested by the police, who also sent DNA samples to Lahore for forensic analysis.
According to Station House Officer (SHO) Nasir Mehmood, the victim’s medical and legal examinations proved that she had been sexually assaulted.
In order for the court to impose harsh punishment on the accused, he added that the police were gathering evidence against the suspect.
The victim’s parents have demanded that the suspect receive harsh punishment and receive justice.
