Earthquake jolts Islamabad, other Punjab cities
A 6.3 magnitude earthquake jolted parts of Islamabad on Sunday afternoon.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, the epicentre of the earthquake was in Tajikistan and had a depth of 150 kilometres.
It occurred at 12:54 p.m. and was located at 38.65 degrees North, 69.65 degrees East longitude.
The European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre also confirmed an earthquake in Attock.

There were no immediate reports of casualties.
The shaking was described as “very intense” by several journalists on Twitter.

When residents of the twin cities came from their houses while reciting Kalima Tayyaba, they were terrified.
According to reports:
Significant earthquakes were felt in a number of adjacent countries, including Iran, India, and other areas.
