Karachi – In a prestigious ceremony celebrating dedication and excellence, 267 members of the Pakistan Navy were awarded military honours and commendation certificates, according to a statement from Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
The event was held to recognize the exceptional service of naval officers, sailors, Chief Petty Officers, and civilian staff. Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf presided over the ceremony as the chief guest.
Among the honours:
- 13 officers were awarded the Sitara-e-Imtiaz (Military)
- 11 officers received the Tamgha-e-Imtiaz (Military)
- 183 sailors, Master Chief Petty Officers, and Chief Petty Officers were conferred the Tamgha-e-Khidmat (Military)
- 60 officers and personnel, including civilians, were presented with commendation certificates for their exemplary performance
The ceremony was attended by a large number of senior naval leadership, including both serving and retired officers, who applauded the contributions of the awardees to national security and naval operations.
The ISPR noted that the honours reflect the Navy’s continued commitment to professionalism, operational excellence, and service to the nation.
