United Front Against Terrorism in Balochistan
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti convened a high-level meeting at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat in Quetta to evaluate the law and order situation and intensify counter-terrorism measures across the province. The meeting, attended by provincial ministers and senior officials, focused heavily on combating terrorist outfits allegedly backed by India, particularly those referred to as “Fitna-ul-Hindustan.”
During the discussions, both leaders strongly condemned foreign-sponsored terrorism and vowed to eradicate militant groups threatening Balochistan’s peace. Minister Naqvi declared that terrorists supported by India and their local facilitators would face a “tragic end” and find no refuge in Pakistan. He further stated that the nation honors the sacrifices of its martyrs and remains unwavering in its resolve to defend its sovereignty.
Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti echoed Naqvi’s sentiments, reiterating that the provincial government has adopted all necessary steps to ensure law and order. Enhanced Cooperation and Tribute to Martyrs
The meeting concluded with a renewed commitment to strengthening coordination between federal and provincial law enforcement and administrative bodies. Naqvi and Bugti agreed to enhance intelligence sharing, streamline security protocols, and foster mutual cooperation to effectively counter terrorist activities.
A solemn moment during the visit included prayers and tributes to law enforcement personnel who embraced martyrdom in the line of duty. Both leaders honored their bravery and declared their sacrifices a cornerstone of the country’s fight against extremism.
