Messi’s room in Qatar University converted into Museum
Qatar University has decided to convert the room of Lionel Messi into museum. Messi stayed in a room in the Qatar University for several days during the FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar.
Argentina’s miraculous victory in the final match against France made millions of football and fans of Messi glad the worldover.

Qatar University, therefore, has decided to make this tournament memorable for thousands of football fans, and immortalise Lionel Messi’s time in the Gulf country.
According to the university, fans and tourists can visit the room-turned-museum now, where Argentinian legendary footballer Messi stayed during his last ever World Cup.

While many national teams opted to stay in hotels during the tournament, Argentine players and support staff set up the camp in student halls at Qatar University. They mostly had the same facilities and accommodations that the college students get.
Argentina’s captain Messi stayed in room B201 of the Qatar University. It was a twin room but Messi shared his room with Sergio Aguero, who joined the Argentina camp as a special guest.
Argentina’s FIFA World Cup victory turned Buenos Aires into a massive street party. And scores of the tattoo artists have been hard at work inking the image of Lionel Messi on the bodies of fans paying tribute to their beloved player.
Interestingly, in Argentina millions of people of all ages took to the streets to welcome their national heroes as they toured the city by bus along with FIFA Cup after returning from Qatar.
