Pakistani actress Mansha Pasha has finally addressed the swirling rumours regarding her marriage to human rights lawyer and activist Jibran Nasir, categorically denying any reports of separation.
In a recent podcast interview, Mansha took the opportunity to set the record straight, calling the ongoing speculation “baseless and inaccurate.”
The actress explained that much of the gossip stems from assumptions made by people on social media who misread the couple’s relatively private approach to their personal lives. “Just because Jibran isn’t seen with me at every event or we’re not constantly posting pictures together doesn’t mean something is wrong,” she said. “People tend to equate public visibility with relationship success, which is an unhealthy and unrealistic standard.”
Mansha criticized the growing culture of social media where public displays of affection and constant online appearances are mistakenly taken as indicators of a happy marriage. “There’s this strange notion now that the more frequently you appear with your partner on Instagram, the happier your relationship must be. I don’t buy into that logic,” she stated.
She further emphasized that both she and Jibran have made a conscious decision to keep their relationship low-profile and free from unnecessary media intrusion. “Not every relationship is equipped to survive the scrutiny that comes with public exposure. We choose peace over performance,” she noted, adding that they value their privacy and mental well-being over feeding social media narratives.
The statement comes after weeks of growing speculation about a possible rift between the two, with fans and media outlets commenting on Jibran’s absence from Mansha’s public appearances.
However, her clear and firm remarks have now dispelled these rumours, reaffirming that the couple remains together and content.
Mansha Pasha, who was previously married to Asad Farooqi in 2013 before separating in 2018, tied the knot with Jibran Nasir in 2021 in a private ceremony.
Since then, the couple has maintained a discreet yet strong relationship, steering clear of the spotlight and choosing to protect their bond from the pressures of public scrutiny.
