Actor addresses viral relationship rumours
Mumbai: Actor and model Sorab Bedi has dismissed rumours linking him romantically with Bollywood star Malaika Arora, clarifying that their relationship is purely friendly.
Speculation about the pair began after Bedi attended a gathering at Arora’s restaurant in Mumbai’s Juhu area. Photos and videos from the event quickly circulated on social media, prompting fans to assume the two might be dating.
However, Bedi addressed the rumours in an interview with Times Now, explaining how he first met the Bollywood personality. According to him, the introduction happened through mutual friends during his early modelling days.
He said mentors Delnaz Daruwala and Vahbiz Mehta had once given him an opportunity to walk the ramp, which later led to social gatherings where he eventually met Arora.
Consequently, the two became friends through their shared social circle.
Bedi’s statement has now largely put the speculation to rest. Nevertheless, Arora’s personal life continues to attract intense public interest.
Over the years, the Bollywood figure has often made headlines for her relationships and social appearances. For instance, she was previously linked with fashion stylist Rahul Vijay after they appeared together at a concert in 2024, which sparked fresh rumours online.
Meanwhile, Arora remains one of the most recognisable personalities in the Indian entertainment industry. She gained widespread popularity through iconic dance numbers, including the hit song Munni Badnaam Hui.
Additionally, she has appeared in films such as Guru, Dabangg and Race 2. She has also served as a judge on television shows like India’s Best Dancer.
Despite constant media attention, Arora continues focusing on her career, fitness ventures and entrepreneurial projects.
