Karachi hosted the 24th edition of the Lux Style Awards 2025 at the iconic Mohatta Palace. This year, organizers opted for a more intimate event. Unlike previous grandiose editions, the gathering was cozy, featuring celebrities, nominees, media professionals, and select influencers.

Television stars delivered memorable performances. Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum (KMKT) emerged as the viewers’ favorite. Hania Aamir won Best Actress, while Fahad Mustafa earned Best Actor. The duo also received Best On-Screen Couple. Critics honored Zard Patton Ka Bunn as Best Drama Serial. Viewers chose Baby Baji Ki Bahuain as Best Long TV Serial.

In film, Kattar Karachi won Film of the Year. Umair Nasir Ali secured Best Director for Nayab. Yumna Zaidi was named Best Actress for Nayab, further adding to her growing collection of awards. Samar Jafri earned Best Actor for Na Baligh Afraad, celebrating his remarkable performance.
Music and Fashion Recognitions
The music industry celebrated Jhol as Song of the Year. In fashion, HSY received the Jury Recognition Award, and Yasser Dar was named Best Model of the Year. These awards highlight the creativity and evolving trends in Pakistan’s fashion scene.
Digital Talent Shines Bright
Digital content creators were also recognized. Rehan Nazim and Rabya Kulsoom (Ron & Coco) won Digital Content Creator of the Year. Aidah Sheikh received the Digital Content Creator Award. Erica Robins was named Digital Trendsetter, while Hira Faisal earned Beauty Influencer of the Year.

Emerging talent Khushhal Khan received the Emerging Talent of the Year award for Dunyapur. The Unilever Chairman’s Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Abida Parveen, honoring her extraordinary contribution to music.

The ceremony was canceled in 2020 due to the pandemic, with funds redirected to support fashion workers affected by lockdowns.
