Udaipur killing has nothing to do with Pakistani Organizations, confirmed by FO

The FO claimed that we have observed reports in a section of the Indian media referencing inquiries into the murder case in Udaipur, cunningly attempting to connect the accused parties, who are Indian nationals, to an organisation in Pakistan. It further claimed we firmly refute any such allegations, which are characteristic of the BJP-RSS-led “Hindutva” dictatorship in India’s attempts to defame Pakistan, particularly by externalising their own problems by blaming Pakistan. Furthermore, According to the FO, neither Indians nor anyone abroad will be misled by such malevolent tactics. According to Indian Express Newspaper, Rajendra Singh Yadav, the state’s minister of state for home, said on Wednesday that Ghouse Mohammad had visited Karachi in 2014 and had been calling Pakistan “for the last 2-3 years” after Kanhaiya Lal, a tailor in Udaipur, was fatally slashed by two men, Mohammad Riyaz and Ghouse Mohammad, for allegedly sharing statements made by BJP member Nupur Sharma about the Prophet..

According to Director General of Police M. L. Lather, Ghouse traveled to Karachi to see the Dawat-e-Islami headquarters. Muhammad Ilyas Attar Qadri established the DeI, a Sunni Islamic proselytizing organization, in Pakistan in 1981. According to press sources, the two young men were detained on Tuesday as they tried to escape Udaipur on a motorcycle. According to the official National Investigation Agency (NIA), the individuals disseminated the film “to incite fear and panic among the populace throughout the country.” Authorities put the city of over 450,000 people under curfew, deployed 600 more police, and cut off mobile internet service there and in other areas of Rajasthan state to prevent potential sectarian conflict.

53 persons were killed in religious riots in the capital city of New Delhi in 2020, while 62 more died in the adjacent city of Muzaffar agar in 2013. Since taking office in 2014, Modi’s party has been accused of excluding Muslims and fostering animosity among Hindus. The controversy surrounding Sharma’s remarks came after the Muslim world was outraged in 2020 after France’s president defended a satirical magazine’s freedom to print insulting caricatures of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). Later, FO cleared Pakistan from this allegation and India once again failed to damage the name of Pakistan.
