truck loaded with soft drinks was looted by mob in Faisalabad

FAISALABAD/ISLAMABAD: People looted a truck loaded with soft drinks near Faisalabad on Sunday.

The truck crashed near Chak No. 203 Rab Chhota Manawala, near Faisalabad. This accident turned into an opportunity and a mob gathered there who ran away while carrying soft drinks.

The driver, overwhelmed by fear, abandoned the vehicle and fled the scene to save his life.

Seizing the opportunity, area residents descended upon the truck. Women and children joined the frenzy, grabbing as many bottles as they could carry before vanishing into the crowd.

Eye witnesses told media about the chaotic looting on their mobile phones and uploaded the videos to social media, which went viral.

The incident has sparked widespread discussion, with many expressing shock and disbelief at the public’s behavior.
