Security Forces Eliminate Eight Terrorists in Successful South Waziristan Intelligence-Based Operation

Eight terrorists were eliminated in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) conducted in the Sararogha area of the South Waziristan District, as announced by the military’s media affairs wing on Sunday.

According to a statement from the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the operation involved intense gunfire exchanges between the military forces and the terrorists, resulting in the demise of eight individuals associated with terrorist activities.

The terrorists had been actively involved in various attacks against both security forces and innocent civilians. Additionally, arms, ammunition, and explosives were recovered from the terrorists who were neutralized during the operation.

The ISPR emphasized that a sanitization operation is underway to ensure the elimination of any remaining terrorists in the area, underscoring the commitment of Pakistan’s security forces to eradicate the menace of terrorism from the country.

IPP President Abdul Aleem Khan Stands Firm with Pakistan Army and rejects dissent

Meanwhile, Abdul Aleem Khan, the President of the Istehkam-e-Pakistan Party (IPP), highlighted the crucial role played by the Pakistan Army in ensuring the stability of the nation.

Speaking at a workers’ convention in Kamoki, the seasoned politician attributed the current state of stability to the unwavering commitment of the armed forces, stating that the stability of the country is owed to the Pakistan Army.

Aleem Khan firmly asserted that, under his leadership, the IPP would not tolerate any dissent against the military. Shifting the focus to local issues, he addressed concerns in Kamonki, including inadequate healthcare facilities, lack of clean water, and subpar infrastructure.

He pledged that, if the IPP assumed power, Kamonki would be transformed into a model city, with the establishment of a cardiology hospital and overall improvement in amenities.

Taking a swipe at past administrations, Aleem Khan criticized previous governments for making grand promises without delivering. He highlighted the achievements and failures of an 18-month government, with electricity bills serving as a lingering reminder of its tenure. Aleem Khan accused previous rulers of corruption, asserting that trust in the system had been eroded.

Looking ahead, Aleem Khan outlined economic reforms and social welfare initiatives, including plans for free electricity for the poor, doubled electricity prices for the affluent, interest-free loans for the youth, and raising the minimum wage to 50 thousand rupees. He emphasized the need to boost industry, increase exports, and provide job opportunities for the youth.
