ISLAMABAD: Initiating a new phase in military collaboration, a unit from the Royal Saudi Land Forces (RSLF) landed at Lahore Air Base this week, inaugurating an extensive 45-day joint training exercise with the Pakistan Army.
The primary objective of this collaboration is to elevate tactical proficiency, exchange valuable expertise, and further fortify the enduring military alliance between the two nations.
Upon their arrival, the Saudi contingent received a cordial reception from high-ranking Pakistani military officials, underscoring the mutual respect and camaraderie shared between the forces.
The joint exercises will unfold in two stages, with the initial phase scheduled at Okara Garrison and the subsequent phase in Khairpur Tamewali.
Officials reveal that the training regimen will be diverse, encompassing a broad spectrum of military skills and expertise. Soldiers from both countries will engage in drills covering tactical manoeuvres, combat operations, intelligence gathering, and other pivotal military procedures.
