Hasan Abu Ola and Yasmine Daftardar tied the knot in a unique underwater wedding ceremony beneath the crystal-clear waters of the Red Sea in Jeddah.
The Muslim couple exchanged vows amidst stunning coral reefs and diverse marine life, creating a magical atmosphere for their big day.
“Alhamdulillah, everything went smoothly without any challenges, and everyone was amazed by how spectacular and unconventional it was,” Abu Ola shared in an interview with Gulf News, reflecting on the remarkable experience.
The couple’s underwater wedding was a surprise, even to them. Their fellow divers and a local diving group, Saudi Divers, led by Captain Faisal Flemban, were present to witness the event.
“It truly was a surprise. After we suited up, Captain Faisal and his team told us they had planned to celebrate our wedding right there beneath the sea. It was an unforgettable and beautiful experience,” Abu Ola added.
As both Abu Ola and Yasmine were licensed divers, they had no difficulty participating in this unplanned underwater ceremony.
Abu Ola expressed his wish to share their extraordinary wedding story with the world through social media and encouraged others to explore the beauty of Saudi Arabia’s maritime wonders.
