Quetionable Performance in three Years by Govt: Shehbaz Sharif Made a Speech in National Assembly

Shehbaz Sharif ultimately made a speech in Budget session. Speaker lifts ban on 7 MNAs barred from NA over ‘disorderly’ conduct.

Opposition Leader Shehbaz Sharif made a speech in national Assembly saying that the law making done in national Assembly was not according to the constitution. The growth rate has been too low during the year. During the last three years, the poverty has increased.

He says people ask where tare the one crore jobs, and if the pocket of the people are empty then it means the budget is a failure. Poor families survive on wheat and pulses.

Shehbaz Sharif further said that pays and pension of the civil servants are at the lowest. When he PML-N government left the growth rate was 5.8%. In three years, the difference between the provinces have enhanced. The rate of unemployment is 15% now.

“Old Pakistan is better than the new Pakistan”, says Shehbaz Sharif. Almost 20 million people have gone below the poverty line during the last three years. The income of the labor went down by 15% in three years. Free cure in hospitals have been snatched form the poor. The rices of essential items has risen by 18% in three years, says Mr Sharif.

The next generations are also under the debt now. The corona package of Rs 1200 billion by the government ignored and could not perform well. If only Punjab shows growth and other provinces could not improve then this does not means any growth. This budget will bring no good news.

Now in the modern housing schemes, the 5 million houses are being included just to show the performance, says Shehbaz Sharif.

The government is punishing the opposition on the name of accountability. Many national assembly members are in jail.

he further said the rupee value against dollars has fallen 38% during the last three years. On each page of the finance minister speech the inflation was written again and again.

Speaker of National Assembly Asad Qaiser on Thursday lifted a ban on seven MNAs who were barred from entering the House over ‘disorderly’ conduct.

According to details, the staff and security of the National Assembly have been informed about the decision of the Speaker. Seven Members of National Assembly were barred from entering the parliament over ‘grossly disorderly’ conduct.

According to the order, on 14th and 15th June, during the speech of the Leader of the Opposition on budget 2021-22, the conduct of the seven lawmakers was grossly disorderly as they violated the rules and despite repeated directions, they interrupted proceedings of the House.

The lawmakers include Ali Gohar Khan, Chaudhry Hamid Hameed, Sheikh Rohale Asghar, Faheem Khan, Abdul Majeed Khan, Ali Nawaz Awan and Syed Agha Rafiullah.

It merits mention that the decision came after the National Assembly turned into a battleground on Tuesday as the opposition and treasury members scuffled with each other and threw budget documents and books when the latter continued their noisy protest to disrupt Shehbaz’s budget speech for a second consecutive day.
