PTI MNAs, MPAs get target to bring one million supporters in long march on Nov 26

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) leaders have given targets to their elected representatives especially MNAs and MPAs to bring at least one million supporters to party’s long march in Rawalpindi on Nov 26.

According to sources, every MNA will bring at least three thousand PTI supporters to Rawalpindi on or before Nov 26 while each MPA will have to arrange more or less two thousand supporters for the long march.

The MNAs and MPAs will arrange participants of long march from their own constituencies.

It is also expected that MNAs and MPAs belonging to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will bring more long march participants.

It was learnt that the party leaders and elected representatives are trying their best to demonstrate their public power with at least one million supporters on Nov 26.

Elected representatives of the PTI and their supporters will arrange transport and meals for supporters of the party who will attend the long march/Haqeeqi Azadi March in Rawalpindi.

It is, however, still not clear for how many days the PTI supporters will stay in Rawalpindi. It is, nevertheless, clear that the arrangements of transportation, meals, and stay of the protesters will be the responsibility of the elected representatives of party.

PTI Chairman Imran Khan and other party leaders will address the long march, demanding snap polls from the coalition government.

PTI chairman and other party leaders were raising a hue and cry over the appointment of army chief on merit, but they have toned down after Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif appointed Syed Asim Munir as new army chief on Thursday.
